When Rick opened the doors to Diamond Heating and Cooling in March 1999, he had no idea the adventure he was about to begin. Focused primarily on new construction at that time, Rick began to earn a reputation of expertise in airflow and was able to solve the common problem of hot bonus rooms. In 2009, Rick’s wife and business partner, Sue Ellen came to work full time in the company. At that time, they transitioned from a new construction focused company into a residential servicing company.
Rick and Sue Ellen both desired to build a residential company whose heart was excellence, integrity and quality. The servicing industry in general has had, at times, a reputation of not taking care of clients, overcharging and being untrustworthy or unprofessional. Rick and Sue Ellen wanted to break that mold and create a company that stood out from all the rest. They wanted their clients to experience excellence and be 100% satisfied with the service they receive. They call it, “Experiencing the Diamond Difference”!
In 2014, Diamond Heating and Cooling was honored with the BBB Integrity Torch Award. This was a huge accomplishment for Rick and Sue Ellen, because it exemplified everything they had worked for years to create.
